Sean contacted me last week and told me there is a group that gets together on the gold coast and asked me if I would like to attend. I have not been able to get in contact with Sean the past few days. It is happening this Friday 18th of march. Can any one please give me more details?

Did you have trouble getting onto the Q & A tonight---

SUGGESTION from Colin Oddy: SKYPE INSTRUCTIONS for Q&A CONFERENCE CALLS
(3 cents a minute)

Download Skype
http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/windows/

Join up:
top right “Join Skype”
Sign into Skype using your log in email and password.

To add credit:
Select Skype (top left) from log in drop down menu
Select “buy Skype credit”
Follow instructions (Pay Pal is a useful account to setup and use if you are going to purchase goods in the on-line world of the future/now!)

To use Skype for the Q&A Conference calls:
Select “Call Phones” at the bottom of the sign in page.
On the left of “Enter Number” there is a drop down box.
Select United States as the Country being called.
Dial the Conference Call facility #: 218 339 4300
(that’s it. No dialling 0011 or 1) and select CALL
When asked to enter Access Code:
In the control menu bar – 2nd icon from the right - is a small box with 9 dots.
THIS is the dialling pad for entering the access code.
Click on it and enter Access Code: 796643#

(if there is a problem where it doesn’t recognise your access code but keeps asking you to enter it – it may be necessary to reboot. (Boring, I know).

I missed most of the information from phil during the teleconference 28 October as I was unable to hear what he was saying - I could only hear when Sean was speaking. Would it be possible to summarise the deal for the group and post it on the website please? thanks, Judy

The deal sounds good at $420 to me Phil, if you believe market val is more than $420k. What were you planning on the sell price to be? If val is say $440 and you allow 3 yrs to the buyer, you could ask easy $510k, or more, 3 yrs growth at just 5% on $440 is around $510 in 3 yrs time. And you could maybe ask for $800 a week with some back credits to the end buyer. Rgds, Keith. (PS. don't type in caps Phil, it's hard to read)

Hello everybody,
Thought I would share a good news story for the week:

Some of you in the group will be aware that Robert and I have been fighting a Real Estate Agent over our break in lease which occurred back in July. They were seeking loss of rent; we argued they breached the contract by not providing a working heater, as was advertised.

Today we went to the Tenancy Tribunal and won! YEAH !!!

I'd like to send a big thank you to David F; those 7 steps to success he spoke to us about back in August were of enormous benefit to us, both in the preparation of documents and again in the negotiation / mediation phases.

The process on the whole was like a dose of bad medecine - it was pretty yucky, but we knew it would do us good - we've both learnt a lot. My mantra for the whole process was wear the 'hat' of a calm, sensible winner - and it worked. Thanks again Dave.
